What is somatic movement?

Somatic movement is a deeply feminine practice which brings attention to your internal experience of movement rather than to its external appearance or goal. It cultivates a deep awareness of your body and innate sensuality.

How does a somatic movement session unfold?

I often begin by introducing women to the anatomy of the female pelvis and its sensual potential. This first session includes a study and embodied integration of the full anatomy of the female pelvis combined with movements to open the pelvis for pelvic health and wellness.

In following sessions, movement meditations will give voice to the body and cultivate a subtle receptivity to sensation, giving way to impulses to move from within.

Somatic movement is a deeply feminine practice which allows us to find abundance in simply being. It allows us to yield into what our body already knows.

There is an intimate relationship between somatic movement and feminine sensuality. This is because as a woman, your sensuality is innate.

Living your sensuality is in fact, less about doing, and more about BEING who you truly are. It’s about living your truth through your body, in the most receptive and fulfilling way.
